To be honest you really don't know who you are talking to as it could be a fake profile. This is why if you are dating from social networks do your homework on the person your going out with. Make sure they are what they say they are.

Dating in today's world has many perils and both men and women should look for it. Their are many honest people out their, but it's usually the bad apples that spoil it for the masses. Dating has become a process where you need to make sure they are who they say they are. Fake names and addresses are common and doing some investigative work doesn't hurt at all. It's always better to be safe than sorry when you talk about dating someone. Dating will continue to change in the future and I'm sure more different ways of dating will appear.
